In Matthew 4:31-38 Jesus explains to His disciples that the ‘meat’ (nourishment) that He has been given is to do the will of the Father as they were trying to get Jesus to eat.

As we start our fast today, think about the needs of others and how much they need eternal life and may the love of God nourish you in that same Spiritual ‘meat’.  Pray for souls to be saved.

DAY 1 (Seeing Souls Saved)

Read Luke 6:30-43.  here you will find in Scripture the heart of Jesus toward people.  “He was moved with compassion,” v34.  Jesus and His disciples were hungry and tired, and yet He was worried about others needs before His own.  Pray for a heart like Jesus.

DAY 2 (Loving People)

Read Mark 14:3-6.  The Scripture here tells us a woman “brake” an alabaster box of ointment and anointed Jesus.  Are we willing to pay the cost of breaking of ourselves in order to serve Christ?  Pray: Lord, whatever the cost, may I be willing to give ALL.

DAY 17 (Revival of My Heart)

Read Joel 2:12-14.  Revival begins in our hearts.  Most of the time we look for someone else to bring revival to us, like an Evangelist.  But God says, “Turn to me with your whole heart”.  When we do this, revival begins.  Pray and tell the Lord I am giving You my whole heart.

DAY 18 (The Rain of Revival)

Read St. John 19:28-30.  All things were accomplished by Jesus.  Nothing missing, nothing left out.  Fasting has a purpose of emptying the things of our self and makes room for things accomplished by Christ.  Good things, the best things.  Eternal life, abundant life, peace in life.  A full, content life.  Live your life with Christ and all He has accomplished for you filling you up and overflowing into your destiny for this year.  Be blessed!  Pray: Father, I desire to be filled with everything You have for me this year!

DAY 21 (It is Finished)

Read Romans 8:1-4.  Nothing can bring revival into your life more than reminding yourself of how much God really loves you.  As you begin this new year, live with the joy from His acceptance and not for His acceptance.  Do you see the difference?  Christ died for you because He loves you!  Pray: Lord, help me to realize how much You really love me.

DAY 20 (No Condemnation)

DAY 19 (New Wine)

Read St. John 2:1-12.  Jesus turned the water into wine.  New wine represents fresh revelation into the mind and will of God as revealed by Scripture.  Allow the Holy Spirit to show you fresh revelation of His Word as you go into this new year.  Jesus said “New wine must be poured into new bottles”

Read Hosea 10:12.  The prophet speaks here in anticipation of something great to come.  Spiritual rain, the rain of revival.  To prepare for it He says, reap, sow, break the ground!  In other words, get ready and be in expectation.  God wants to bless you with REVIVAL this year.  Expect it, prepare for it, let the ground breaking begin.  Pray: Lord I am ready to receive the seed of new fruit in my life.  Revive me!
